GUJRANWALA, Dec 12: A SHO was arrested for negligence and failure to arrest the culprits allegedly involved in the murder and rape of a three-year-old girl here on Sunday.
Earlier, hundreds of protesters held a forceful demonstration on Saturday demanding an immediate arrest of the suspects.
Today, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Tariq Yasin met the victim's parents and promised an exemplary punishment for the alleged murderers.
The RPO suspended SHO Mian Jabbar and sent him behind bars for failing to arrest any of the prime suspects. He also ordered to complete the inquiry at the earliest.
