RAHIMYAR KHAN, Dec 21 : A man was killed and 17 others injured in separate road mishaps in different areas of the district on Tuesday.
According to details a Faisalabad bound passenger bus coming from Sadiqabad turned turtle due to poor resulted by fog while negotiating a sharp turn at Chandrami Road of Rahimyar.
As a result of accident eight persons including a woman were injured. The injured were shifted to Rahimyar Khan Hospital where according to hospital sources three injured identified as Abdul Rashid, Razia Bibi and Afzaal were in critical condition.
Motorcyclist Muhammad Asif 27, a resident of Zahir Peer area of Rahimyar Khan was critically injured after being hit by a troller at National Highway. He was shifted to Rahimyar Khan Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds during treatment.
One persons identified as Khalid 28, was critically injured in head-on collision between two trollers due to fog in Chak 149-P, at National Highway.
Ali Muhammad 19, a resident of Satellite Town was injured after a reckless driven speeding car hit his motorcycle.
In Iqbalabad area of Rahimyar Khan, a motorcyclist Nadeem Ahmed was injured after being hit by a passenger bus. He was shifted to hospital where according to hospital sources his condition was serious as he received wounds in head.
One person identified as Adnan 18, was injured in collision between bicycle and motorcycle in Hussainabad locality.
Two persons including Muhammad Iftikhar 60, and Haleema Bibi 18, were injured in collision between two motorcycles as Khanpur Road.
Zafar Mehmood 29, a resident of Sunny Pul and Ghulam Mustafa of Minthar Road were injured in separate road mishaps. Both injured were shifted to hospital and according to hospital sources condition of Ghulam Mustafa was serious.
