ISLAMABAD, Dec 19 : PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that his party can destabilize Provincial Governments in Punjab and Balochistan but would no do so for the greater cause of democracy.
Talking to media at the Parliament House here on Sunday, the PML-Q President categorically stated that his party is not joining the Federal government. He said the Q-League would neither support any in-house change nor it is possible. He said they want the Government to complete its five year term.
In reply to a question, Ch Shujaat Hussain said if Mian Nawaz Sharif is not interested to sit with them (Chaudhrys), they too do not want to stand with him. He said Nawaz Sharif is supporting the Peoples Party and Government under the pretext of saving the system.
To another question, the PML-Q President said that they held meetings with various leaders but that does not mean that they are joining the government or working against it.
About military operation in North Waziristan, Shujaat suggested that the Government should take the political leadership on board before launching operation as that would yield better results.
