LAHORE, Dec 27 : The team of FIA Lahore wing raided into the office of Moonis Elahi, son of former Punjab Chief Minister and arrested his manager Abdul Maalik on Monday.
Moonis Elahi is considered as a close associate of Mohsin Warraich, a main accused of NICL case.
The raid was linked as a continuation of the investigation of NICL case.
Commenting on the incident, Moonis Elahi said that the action done by the FIA, is a manifestation of covert alliance between the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-N.
Moonis said that PML-Q will face all the allegations and was not afraid of any such tactics based on vengeance.
FIA has so far managed to recover Rs 1.68 billion from Mohsin Warraich, mian accused in the NICL scam.
