MINGORA, Dec 27 : At least five suspected militants were killed and three security personnel injured in two separate clashes in Swat on Monday.
According to security forces, militants ambushed at security check post with heavy weapons in Atror area of tehsil Kalam, injuring three security personnel.
The security forces opened fire in retaliation at militants, killing two of them on the spot. The slain militants were later identified as Zarqavi and Noorul Huda, security sources said.
In another operation by security forces raided a suspected house in Peochar area of tehsil Matta. An exchange of fire took place which resulted into the killing of three suspected militants.
The security forces recovered heavy cache of arms and ammunition from the house.
