Five killed in various incidents in Balochistan, 18 suspects arrested for blast in Quetta

QUETTA, Dec 25 : At least five people were killed in various incidents in different areas of Balochistan on Saturday.

According to police sources, in Hazar Gunji area of provincial capital Quetta unidentified armed men opened fire at a general store killing one man identified as Shah Muhammad and fled away from the scene.

One man identified as Abdul Jalil hailing from Lower Alai was suffocated to death due to leakage of gas in a local hotel in Quetta.

Two real brothers whose names have not been ascertained were killed as vegetables laden truck fell in a gorge in Macch area of district Bolan.

In Voudh area of Khuzdar district one Ubaidullah was killed and five others injured in a road mishap.

Armed men kidnapped four of same family in Oasta Muhammad area of Jafferabad district.

Meanwhile police have arrested 18 persons during crack downs in different areas of the Quetta in connection with the blast at Karmani Road on Friday which left a sub-inspector dead and five others sustained injuries in the blast.
