RAWALPINDI, Dec 04 : The Anti-Terrorist Court issued on Saturdaynon-bailable arrest warrants against former police chief of Rawalpindi SaudAziz and former SP Rawal Town Khurram Shahzad in the Benazir Bhutto murdercase here Saturday.
The court has adjourned the hearing till December 11 and summoned the policeofficials as accused in the case.
Federal counsel Chaudhry Azhar told reporters that during the next hearingthe court would proceed on charge sheets filed against the officials.
He said Azim has been blamed for his alleged hand in not letting the doctorsto conduct BB's postmortem.
The lawyer had argued that since Aziz and Shahzad were declared innocentduring a previous FIA investigation, the court could excuse them fromappearing.
The court however rejected the application and issued non-bailable arrestwarrants for the Aziz and Shahzad.
