Adiala Jail missing prisoners under ISI, MI custody

ISLAMABAD Dec.9 The Supreme court was atlast informed on Thursday that eleven persons who went missing from Adiala Jail were in the custody of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Military Intelligence (MI) agencies.

The Counsel for the secret agencies Raja Irshad told the three member bench of the Supreme Court that they were arrested under Army Act and charged with harming the military installations and hence was being court-martial.

The agencies further unfolded that more than 25 other terrorists and masterminds were arrested on the basis of information gathered from the arrested terrorists.

The counsel of ISI and MI Raja Irshad told the Supreme Court (SC) during a case hearing regarding 11 missing prisoners of Adiala Jail that all the people are alive and safe.

He said they were involved in high profile terrorist activities including GHQ, ISI's Hamza Camp, assassination of a three star General and many other acts.

He said they are high profile terrorists and part of a wide network. The court directed the Counsel to submit a written reply in this connection.
