Karachi : As many as 13 members of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan were arrested on Tuesday during a search operation in Manghopir area of Karachi.
Police and Rangers conducted a joint operation in Kunwari Town locality of Manghopir.
Police sources said during the operation, forces discovered an office which was allegedly used by banned Tehreek-e-Taliban. 13 Taliban militants including Siddique Mehsood, Raheel Mehsood, Fakhar Mehsood and Gola were arrested from the office.
Police have also recovered heavy arms and ammunition from the militants’ compound.
More than 150 suspects have also been taken into custody in the operation.
