ISLAMABAD:Senate session adjourned on Friday after passing the recommendations of the standing committee for finance over Reformed General Sales Tax (RGST) and amended finance bill for Year 2010.
Earlier, Senator Ahmed Ali, chairman standing committee for finance, presented the committee's report over RGST and amended finance bill in the house on insistance of the chairman Farooque H. Naik.
The house passed the report amid uproar over the RGST.
Earlier,Senator Ahmed Ali said that the committee's recommendations are not final and the house have to take final decision on the matter.
People's Party's Senator Raza Rabbani also said he has reservations over the RGST bill.
The senators of Awami National Party staged walk out from the house over arrests of the party workers in Karachi.
