WAZIRABAD, Nov 27 : Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that people have high expectations from the government and they have their right to criticize it.
He was addressing a function held in connection with death anniversary of Maulana Zafar Ali Khan here Saturday.
He said the government believes in the political consultation and reconciliation as they want to rectify the mistakes.
Later, talking to newsmen the Minister said that the government has taken corrective measures to boost the agriculture sector.
To a question, he said checking prices of sugar is the responsibility of the provincial governments. He said the government gets loans from foreign institutions keeping in view the national demand and economic requirement.
About Reforms in General Sales Tax, he said that it was not a new tax and government wants to bring about uniformity in the tax rate.
