PM Gilani dismisses 2 NRO beneficiaries

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has dismissed 2 NRO beneficiaries. These include Pir Mukarum-ul-Haq, executive director of the Printing Corporation of Pakistan (PCP), and Sadiq Ali Khan, managing director of the Federal Employees Benevolent Fund. A notification has been issued in this regard. Director of the PCP, Pir Mukarum-ul-Haq has been dismissed from 2004 and he is ordered to return all salaries. Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that action would be taken against the person who appointed Adnan Khwaja while Secretary Establishment Ismael Qureshi said that Adnan Khwaja was appointed on the verbal orders of the Prime Minister. Adnan Khwaja during the hearing told the court that he is only a qualification of FA. On this, Justice Saqib Nisar said that an FA qualified person has been made head of OGDC and NAB's this act has destroyed the law.
