KARACHI, Oct 30 : Pakistan Maritime Security Agency taking six launches into its custody arrested 32 Indian fishermen for violating Pakistani sea limits.
Spokesman MSA Lieutenant Commander Muhammad Naeem 32 Indian fishermen who were fishing inside 60 nautical miles of Pakistan sea limits were arrested.
The MSA personnel also took six launches owned by Indian fishermen into its custody.
The detained Indian fishermen were handed over to police and case registered against them under fishing and foreign act. The detainees would be soon produced before the court.
It should be mentioned that Pakistan has set free more than three hundred Indian fishermen during last four months as a part of goodwill gesture on the assurance by the Indian authorities for playing role to stop violation of Pakistan sea limits by Indian fishermen.
However, Indian fishermen repeated violate the Pakistan sea limits despite assurance from concerned authorities and fishermen organizations.
