KARACHI, Sep 23 (INP): Two persons were killed and another injured in separate violent incidents in different localities of Karachi on Thursday.
In Pirabad area of the city, near Metro Cinema unidentified armed assailants
gunned down Muhammad Ali 23, s/o Haider Ali.
The deceased was stated to be hailing from Swat and member of Peace Committee constituted to assist armed forces against the Taliban fighters. Earlier another member of Swat Peace Committee identified as Hamayun Khan was gunned down by unidentified armed men in the same area.
Armed dacoits opened fire at residents of a house upon resistance during a robbery attempt in a house located in Gulshan e Zia area of Orangi Town.
As a result of firing Asghar 24, was killed on the spot while his brother Azhar 22, sustained injuries.
The assailants fled away from the scene after committing the murder.
The injured and dead body were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
