Turkish FM holds phone call with Pakistani FM over flood

Turkish FM Davutoglu talked to his Pakistani counterpart Qureshi on phone about the recent flood disaster in the country.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu talked to his Pakistani counterpart Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi on phone about the recent flood disaster in the country.

Davutoglu informed his Pakistani counterpart on Turkey's relief efforts to heal the wounds of the disaster.

Earlier in the week, Turkish relief agency, the Red Crescent sent humanitarian aid to Pakistani people. Turkey also donated 5 million USD to Pakistan.

Floods triggered by heavy monsoon rain have scoured Pakistan's Indus river basin, killing more than 1,600 people, forcing 2 million from their homes and disrupting the lives of about 14 million people
