Two rescued alive, two drowned in bid to beat scorching heat

DERA GHAZI KHAN, July 07 : Two persons died whereas two rescued alive as four people drowned in Shoria Canal of Dera Ghazi Khan on Wednesday. According to rescue sources, people were enjoying swimming in Shoria Canal of D. G. Khan to lessen the intensity of scorching heat when four of them drowned in the deep water of the canal. However, the rescue authorities rushed to the spot soon after getting the information of the incident and in assistance with local rescued two persons alive. Rashid 25, and Dilshad 15 were shifted to hospital where they were stated to unconscious till the report filed. The rescue authorities fished the bodies of Waseem Akram 18 and Mujtaba later.
