Rangers nab 11 criminals after incidents of target killing in Karachi

Following the incidents of target killing and riots, Rangers have launched operation in various areas of the metropolis and nabbed 11 persons. According to the details, consequent upon the directions of Interior Minister, Rangers went into a massive operation in Saeed Abad, Mubeena Town, Sar Jani Town and apprehended 9 criminals belonging to a party involved in the arson and recovered arms from their possession. Whereas in a raid on a coach, Rangers detained two outlaws possessing heavy cache of arms. The Rangers also started patrolling in the troubled areas and after firing scanned the areas of Gulistan-e Johar, Gulshan Iqbal, Sahrab Goth, Alfalfa. However no arrests were confirmed.

Earlier police arrested two criminals belonging to ANP named Younis Khan and Chota Pathan and recovered two 9mm pistols. The arrests sparked panic in the area and people surrounded Mubeena Town police station. Daud Farman SHO, Saeed Abad police station arrested an accused Zahid Khan from Quaid Abad who was involved in the killing of an activist of Mutahida Abdul Malik. According to the police he belongs to ANP. Police has been searching for three accomplice namely Jamil, Tariq and Shani who have escaped. Meanwhile polices detained 6 activists belonging to a party involved in torching a bus on Lyari express way named Shuhrat Khan, Mirza Bashir, Abdulsalam Shakir Khan, Aqeel and Nisar
