QUETTA, July 16 : Complete Wheel-jam and shutter down strike was observed on the third consecutive day here on Friday in response to a three days strike call given Baloch National Party-M (BNP-M) in the entire province to condemn the genocide of Baloch nationals. Tension still prevailed in the whole of the province as BNP workers mourned the death of their leader Habib Jalib who was shot dead by miscreants. BNP workers blocked various routes including the Quetta-Karachi National Highway at Mastung, Quetta-Taftan at RCD Highway and other inter-city roads. Trade and business activities were shut in the entire province while educational institutions were also closed to record protest against the government inability to stop the killing of Baloch leaders and other innocent people. Panjgoor, Kalat, Khuzdar, Hub, Mastung, Noukundi, Taftan, Awaran, Bismia and other areas of Balochistan also observed wheel-jam and shutter down strike against the dartasdly act of target killing. On the other hand, Balochistan Bar Association and Balochistan Bar Council Friday boycotted the court proceedings for the third day who had earlier announced to go on strike till Friday.
