35 bodies recovered; search operation yet on: CDA

ISLAMABAD, Jul 28 (APP): The rescue teams have recovered more or less 35 bodies from wreckage of the plane crashed on top of Margalla hills on Wednesday morning.According to the spokesman of Capital Development Authority, the rescue teams have also recovered six passengers found injured as all out efforts are being made to airlift the injured ones at earliest.

He said besides CDA’s forest guards who reached first at spot, the government has also dispatched troops of Pakistan Rangers, Pakistan Army, Pak Navy, Pakistan Air Force and Police to join the rescue operation.
The spokesman said the Authority is supplying water to the teams being used for drinking as well as extinguishing fire erupted after the plane crash of private airlines.
“As many as 65 staffers of the CDA are taking part in the operation. Our ambulances as well as the firefighting staff are very much there to counter the situation,” said the spokesman.
He said the CDA high ups are in constant contact with the rescue teams through wireless and the updated information is also being provided to the concerned quarters.
“The foremost difficulty the rescue teams are facing is the tricky pathways and heavy rain fell on the very morning added to the woes as the tracks have gone slippery,” he said.
