PPP Govt failed to provide relief to masses in budget 2010-11

LAHORE, June 07 : Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that federal government did not take substantial steps to improve national economy in the country. Budget which announced by the federal government would more create more inflation.

Speaking the PML-N’s senior leaders during a meeting on Monday, Nawaz Sharif said that increase in the commodities prices more would increase inflation and added that fiscal budget 2010-11 did not provide any benefits to the common people.

Nawaz Sharif said that the federal government should have provided much relief to the masses in this budget.

He said that country’s economy could only be improved through self sufficiency and getting rid of loans, but the government was depending on foreign economy and loans.

He said that the federal government wanted to overcome deficit through getting loan from abroad, adding such policy of the government would destroy the country’s economy

He directed the Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif to announce people friendly budget and said that the Punjab government should provide relief to the common masses in the upcoming provincial budget.

Nawaz Sharif said that the provincial government started mega welfare projects in the province. He expressed satisfaction over provincial government welfare steps like Sasti Roti Scheme, Education, Health and Livestock projects

The PML-N chief said that poverty and unemployment could be eradicated by adopting cheap energy resources.
