LAHORE, May 03 : At least three dacoits including head of the gang were killed in encounter with police in Faisal Town here on late Sunday night, police claimed.
According to details, CIA police received tip off about presence of robberies in a house owner Rahat Butt a cable network operator, the police raided at the house where the dacoits opened fire at police party.
The police opened fire in retaliation in which three burglaries including head of gang Jafar, Daud Khan and Deen Khan were killed on the spot while two dacoits Muqsood and Usman managed to flee from the scene during encounter.
The police recovered as many as Rs.5.5 million, jewelries, arms and ammunitions from possession of the dead bodies and shifted to hospital.
The police also arrested owner of house Rahat Butt for investigation.
