Police held four militants after they torch an oil tanker at Ring road

PESHAWAR, Mar 06 : Police claimed to have arrested four militants after exchange of fire between the police and the militants after the invaders torched an oil tanker transporting supply to NATO at Ring Road here on Saturday, police sources said.

At least seven unidentified militants ambushed an oil tanker transporting oil to US-led NATO forces in Afghanistan and opened fire at it, as a result, the oil tanker caught fire and left driver and cleaner of the vehicle injured.

Police on reaching the scene retaliated fire leaving one militant wounded and caught hold four militants including the wounded one. Rest of three of the accomplices managed to flee from the scene under the cover of fire.
