ISLAMABAD, Feb 23 : The Constitutional Reforms Committee (CRC) Tuesday agreed on appointment of judges in accordance with the Charter of Democracy (CoD).
During the meeting held with Senator Mian Raza Rabbani in chair on Tuesday here issue of process of appointment of judges was discussed in detail.
The committee stated that two third majority will be required to reject the recommendations of Judicial Commission.
The issue of Federal High Court was not discussed in the meeting. The committee completed discussion on all the articles of the constitution related to the judiciary.
Sources said that CRC would meet again on Wednesday (today) where issue of the provincial autonomy would be discussed
