FAISALABAD, Feb 03: A Special Central Court on Wednesday acquitted Interior Minister Rehman Malik in a case regarding misuse of powers after the FIA withdrew its allegations in this regard.
The Interior Minister was appeared before special judge in central court here for hearing of his interim bail plea in a case of power abuse.
During the hearing, FIA informed the court that it was withdrawing the case as no evidence was found regarding accusations of the misuse of powers by the Interior Minister. Later, the court withdrew the case.
