PESHAWAR, Feb 17: The Chief Minister NWFP Ameer Haidar Khan Hoti on Wednesday welcomed the meeting between Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and greets the whole nation over the successful conclusion of matter of judges’ appointment.
In a statement, the Chief Minister termed the meeting a historical moment for the stability of institutions and the country. He said that the spirit of mutual understanding between institutions is encouraging for democracy and political stability in the country.
He expressed the hope that future problems confronting the nation will also be resolved with such spirits of mutual consultation.
The Chief Minister also thanked the Prime Minister Gilani and Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry for averting a crisis like situation in the country.
