Cases registered against 250 PPP activists including PPP president Punjab for rioting

LAHORE, Feb 22 : Lahore Police have registered cases against People's Party Punjab President Rana Aftab and 250 party activists for last week rioting and burning effigies against the apex court decision.

Complainant SHO Qila Gujjar Singh nominated PPP Punjab President Rana Aftab, Secretary General Samiullah, party president of Lahore Asghar Gujjar, Sajida Mir MPA and 250 party workers in the case. They have been accused of protesting against the court decision.

President PPP Punjab Rana Aftab has said the party has used their democratic right to protest and will do the same in future if rough words will be used against the party leaders.
