ISTANBUL, Jan 25 : Turkish President Abdullah Gul met with his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari as part of the "Turkey-Afghanistan-Pakistan Trilateral Summit" and "Istanbul Forum for Friendship and Cooperation in Heart of Asia" in Istanbul on Monday.
Gul's meeting with Zardari took place at the Ciragan Palace and lasted around one and a half hours. During the meeting they discussed bilateral relations, security situation in the region and ways and means to stabilize Afghanistan.
