ISLAMABAD , Jan 29 : Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that war against terrorism could not be won without Pakistan 's support but Pakistan does not believe interference in the internal affairs of any country including Afghanistan .
Talking to media here Friday,the Prime Minister said Pakistan stands for a stable Afghanistan that is vital for peace and stability in the region. He said Pakistan is also working for good relations with all neighbouring countries inncluding Afghanistan to bring stability and peace in the region.
Answering a question the Prime Minister said that the government had never defended NRO at any forum and is implementing the verdicts of the apex court. He said it is implementation of the court verdict that our ministers are appearing before the courts in person.
To another question he said the parliamentary committee on constitutional reforms has almost completed its task and hoped that it will present its report before the national assembly soon.
Regarding non presence of federal secretaries in the parliament galleries during the sessions, he said we can not make the government hostage by ensuring presence of federal secretaries in the galleries all the time. However, he said, the government will make sure that representatives of concerned ministries should sit in the galleries and take notes about their ministries and pass the relevant matters to the concerned ministries. He said his government takes very seriously the business of the parliament and he himself takes questions on the floor of the house when and where required.
