Police held seven on charge of stealing high tension wires of KESCO

KARACHI, Jan 20 : The police Wednesday arrested seven culprits of a group involved in theft of high tension wires of Karachi Electric Supply (KESCO) and have recovered two snatched vehicles and arms from their custody.

According to SPO Imdad Ali Solangi the police party on a tip off regarding presence of culprits in Khokhrapar raided the area during which seven culprits involved in the theft of high tension wires of KESCO were detained.

Usman Brohi the culprit wanted in various incidents of robberies and other crimes is also among the detained culprits.

The police have recovered ammunition including 6 TT pistols, a repeater, lifted double cabin of KESCO and a theft valuables laden pickup van.

Cases have been registered against the detainees and investigations were underway against them. INP
