KARACHI, Jan 13 : The former chairman of Pakistan Steel Mills Moin Aftab has been arrested on Wednesday and a local court remanded him into FIA custody for ten days.
Earlier, FIA officials after receiving information about his presence at the house of his son-in-law in Khayaban-e-Taseer overnight arrested Moin Aftab in a raid.
FIA transferred former chairman steel mill to FIA Crime Branch for interrogation. Aftab has been booked in four cases of power abuse and bungling.
He was also alleged of embezzling billions of rupees. Around Rs 1.42 billion plundering has been exposed in the Still Mills case so far. INP
