CJP directs NAB to look into Rs 7 billion reported embezzlement in PCB

ISLAMABAD, Jan 4 : The Chief Justice of Supreme Court Mr Justice Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has taken Suo Moto Notice on an application of Razaullah Khan R/o Karachi regarding embezzlement of Rs. 7 billion by office holder of Pakistan Cricket Board.

The applicant said that Prime Minister of Pakistan had ordered an inquiry and forwarded the application to NAB but no action has been taken until.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan taking the notice has issued direction to Chairman NAB to look into the case for disposal.

Meanwhile, on application of Amir Hatim Mian, requesting for recovery of her abducted daughter and arrest of the accused person the Chief Justice sought report from PPO, NWFP within two weeks in the case.

Taking the notice on another application the Chief Justice passed an order for reports from I.G. Frontier Corps and PPO, Balochistan. The applicant Noorullah R/o Quetta stated that the armed personals of F.C. and police entered into his house and took away his younger brother with them. He prayed for recovery of his brother. INP
