Lahore Jan 30 : The Secretary General, Pakistan Peoples Party Senator Jahangir Badar has termed the statements of Rana Sanaullah against charter of democracy and said governor Punjab will take a careful decision on judges’ appointment summary sent by Lahore High Court.
Talking to media while appearing in the accountability court here on Saturday, Jahangir Badar said statements of Rana Sanaullah will vitiate the political atmosphere.
He urged Sanaullah to consult courts instead of issuing statements to media against governor Punjab.
PPP respected the decisions of Supreme Court and PPP also made strengthens the democratic institutions in the country and believed supremacy of law, Badar remarked.
“I have been appearing before the court in references filed against him for the last ten years”, he added he said that PPP never made an attempt tantamount to contempt any institution of the country.
He said that all political parties should avoid giving statement against one another.
Meanwhile, the court has adjourned the hearing of cases of illegal assets and illegal recruitments against Badar till February 13.
