PESHAWAR, : At least four militants were killed and seven others were injured during clashes between security forces and militants on Saturday, security official said.
According to details, some militants attacked a security check post in Chamarkand, tehsil Saafi on late night on Friday, as a result, three security men were injured. The security forces retaliated with heavy gunfire at militants’ positions, which killed at least four militants and injured seven others.
Meanwhile, Security forces apprehended twelve suspected persons including three real brothers in two separated raids conducted at a local hotel in Swat on Saturday, security sources said.
On tip off, security forces conducted a raid at a hotel located at Peoples' Chowk in Swat where nine suspects’ militants were arrested. The arrested men were shifted to unidentified location for investigation.
Security forces have also held three brothers from Rang Mohalla.
Two houses of terrorists were destroyed by the security forces in Kozi Bandha.
